A few set of market information released this week:

• According to Nokia, global sales of 3G WCDMA mobile handsets could reach 100m units in 2006, of which 40% would be Nokia handsets.

• Ericsson sees 2006 as the year of HSDPA

• According to In-Stat, digital Direct-to-Home (DTH) pay-TV revenues could rise to $80bn in 2009, from current $46bn in 2005. 60 digital DTH pay-TV platforms are currently in use around the world. There will be 100m digital DTH pay-TV subscribers by the end of 2008.
