Operator results - 4/02/06

Google reports 4Q05 revenues of $1.9bn and net income of $372m. For the year, revenues were $ 6.1bn (+92%) and net profit was $1.5bn (+267%).

Etisalat (UAE) announced 2005 revenues of $3.5bn, up 23%, and earnings of $1.2bn, up 25%.

Bell Canada reports 4Q05 profit of $360m (almost flat) on quarterly revenues of $4.4bn (+5%). For the full year, BCE reported 4% growth in revenues to $16.6bn and net profit rising 24% to $1.66bn.

Time Warner posts 21% rise in 4Q05 net earnings to $1.4bn on revenues growing 7% to $12bn. Cable revenue rose 13% to $2.5bn and AOL revenue slipped to $2bn.

NZ Telecom reported 1H06 revenues of $2bn (+2%) and net loss of $320m vs a profit of $283m.

Comcast (US) announced revenues of $22.2bn (+9.5%), an operating income of $3.7bn (+27%), and a net income of $928m (down 5%).
