Peru: 5,7m mobile users in 2005, expected to rise 50% in 2006, and reach 10.3m in 2007.

China: China Unicom added 1,25m new users bringing its total to 128m customers, of which 95,1m GSM users and 32,7m CDMA subs.. China Mobile added almost 4m new subscribers in Dec,, bringing the total of new users in 2005 to 42,3m. China Mobile has 247m users.

Fastweb (Italy) has risen its subscriber base to 714k at the end of 2005.

Ecuador: Otecel registered 1.93m mobile TDMA users; Conecel claims 4,1m users; and Telesa mobile base reached 226k users.

Tajikistan: 402k mobile users and 287k fixed line subscribers.
