Mobile vendor orders N54

Nokia is expanding Polkomtel's nationwide GSM/EDGE and WCDMA 3G network in Poland. It will supply an in-car communication solution to Volkswagen.

Ericsson will deliver a GSM network to enable mobile communications at sea with Norwegian based Maritime Communications Partner. It will deliver a CDMA 1X wireless infrastructure solution to India’s Shyam Telecom.

Option will deliver data cards for GSM, EDGE and 3G networks to Teliasonera in Finland, Norway and Sweden.

Intec has signed a $15m contract to deliver a billing system to MTN in South Africa.
