In the US, groups of neighbors can now share their DSL or cable Internet connections. Internet providers are showing interest in these news ideas using wireless technologies. With an antenna outside the house, the system can link across numerous miles, if no obstructions. Several PCs can be simultaneously connected, and downloading files and Web pages can be 10 times faster due to sharing of high-speed lines within small neighborhood groups.
