A few set of market information released this week:

• According to Information Week and Microcast, 30% of CIOs have already deployed blade servers, 12% plan to deploy this year and 25% are making evaluation.

• Berg Insight forecasts 50m laptops should be connected to 3G in Europe by 2009 (from 1m worldwide today).

• A study from The Usable Products Company reveals current mobile phones are not easy to use for customers. Media online purchase remains as challenging as ever. Samsung a680, Sanyo 5500 and Motorola v600 are the 3 top easy-to-use phones. The Motorola RAZR ranked 11th out of 13 phones tested; Nokia 6101 ranked 7^th.

• According to Frost & Sullivan, the European mobile music markets are expected to grow to €7,9bn in 2010 from €1,6bn in 2004.

• According to Pyramid Research, mobile telephony service revenues in Latin America are expected to reach $50bn by 2010, of which 31% in Brazil and 29% in Mexico.

• According to Informa, the average price for a MMS (multimedia message) is 4 times more expensive than a standard SMS.
