- The IP Centrex/Hosted PBX market is poised for explosive growth over the next 4 years, with revenues reaching approximately $1.3bn by 2009, according to In-Stat. The SME market is driving demand.
- According to Analysys, the Chinese VOIP market is seen growing by 70% from 2008 onwards, in spite of unclear regulation until 2007.
- Infonetics projects that APAC carriers would increase their capital expenditures by 3% this year, and assesses a similar trend next year, with the exception of telcos in China and Korea. Spending in China decreases 3% this year as massive network build-outs slow down.
- According to Research & Markets, the cable head-end market is expected to increase from $2.9bn in 2005 to $10.3bn by 2011.
