Neuf Cegetel (France) reports 3Q07 sales of € 859m, up 20% including Club Internet purchased in June. With launching new services, such as down-loadable music or TV, ARPU grew over 10% to €34.5.
US Cellular said its 3Q07 revenues were $955m, up 16%, and its operating income rose 31% to $101m. AROU rose 10% to $52.7.
PLDT (Philippines) announced 3Q07 net profit of $216m, down 9%, and 9mo net profit of $616m (+3.5%).
Telus (Canada) posted 3Q07 net profit of $462m, up 28%, on sales of $2.6bn, up 5%. Telus Mobility reported sales of $1.25bn, up 9%, and ARPU of 73.8, down 1%.
NZ Telecom announced flat net profit at $171m, and an EBITDA of $366m (down 4%).
Softbank (Japan) reported FY1H group net profit of $413m, up 200%, operating profit rising 49% to $1.5bn and revenues were up 22% to $12.1bn.
Bharti Airtel (India) said its 3Q07 revenues were up 53% to $1.3bn and FY1Hrevenues were up 59% to $2.5bn. Mobile services accounted for about 80%. EBIT margin was over 28%. Growth was driven by new customers (+80%) in spite of a drop in ARPU by 17% to $9.4.
Singtel (Singapore) has reported a 3% increase in FY2Q net profit to $686m, and revenues up 11% to $2.5bn. In FY1H, revenues grew 11% to $5bn and net profit rose 7% to $1.3bn. Contributions from associates continue to grow (52% of its net profit, and 74% of proportionate EBITDA). Singtel has 158m mobile subscribers and operates in six countries.
T-Mobile USA reports 3Q07 OIBDA of $1.4bn, up 15%; on revenues of $4.9bn (+3%), and net income was down 70% to $526m. The ARPU rose 2% to $53. Data services amounted to over 15% of total revenues.
