According to Infonetics, the worldwide CMTS revenue jumped 15% to $209m in 3Q05. Strong growth is expected to continue for at least the next few years, with annual CMTS revenue reaching $1.1bn in 2008. Cisco maintained its leadership position in worldwide revenue and port shipments, capturing a 58% market share. Arris and Motorola are following, with the top three commanding 93% of the market. 49% of CMTS revenue was from North America, 21% from EMEA, 18% from Asia Pacific, and 12% from CALA.
