UTStarcom will supply its C1161 CDMA 1x handsets to S-Fone, a nationwide CDMA service provider in Vietnam.

Ericsson will provide a fully US, EU and NATO inter-operable mobile military communications system (MOKYS) to the Slovak armed forces. It also won Vodafone Espana order for new 3G core infrastructure, displacing Nortel equipment. It also garnered two GSM network upgrades for Investcom in Ghana and Benin, and a GSM network construction in the Republic of Guinea, always for Investcom.

Tekelec has been selected by MiRS, Israel's integrated digital enhanced network (iDEN) wireless operator, to provide its IMS core switching and VOIP solutions.

LogicaCMG and Adamind (Emblaze) have been selected by Optus (Australia) for Mobile Messaging (MMS) content management solution.

Huawei has probably lost its supplier position with BSNL (India) after it defaulted on a contract to provide 1m lines of CDMA2000 equipment, and is leaving place to ZTE.
