Japan: Softbank is the winner in 1H07 mobile subscriber growth with about 1.1m new users, while KDDI added just over 1m and DoCoMo only 320k.

Ukraine: 53m mobile subscriber base at end-August, with Kyivstar having a 43% market share and Mobile TeleSystems/UMC a 38% share.

Mobile subscribers in Romania were almost 20m at the end of June, and penetration was over 90%.

According to Point Topic, there were almost 314m broadband subscribers worldwide at the end of 2Q07.
