Operator results - 15/11/05

JazzTel (Spain) lost €50m in the 9-month period (down 312%) on revenues of €59m, up 19%. EBITDA stood at €35m.

MTS (Russia) reported RAS 9-month net profit of $421m, up 4%, on revenues of $1,93bn (up 24,5%).

Vodacom (S. Africa) posted net profit of $349m (+65%) on revenues of $2,4bn (+22%).

Telkom SA (S. Africa) announced 41% growth in FY1H05 (March- Sept.) net profit to $674m, on revenues of $3,76bn, up 10%.

O2 reports strong FY 1H06 results: revenues of €5,3bn, up 12%; EBITDA rose 15% to €1,4bn and net profit up 4% to €500m. O2 is under a takeover bid from Telefonica.
