Telmex (Mexico) posts 3Q05 revenues of $3.7bn (up almost 9%) of which 25% outside Mexico. Local service revenues (35% of the total) were down 1.5%, domestic long-distance revenues (23% of the total) grew by 26.4%, International service (8% of the total) grew 1.8%, Corporate network revenues (11.2% of total revenue) grew by 27.4% and Internet revenues (7% of total revenue) grew by 35.4%. EBITDA increased by 4.5%to $1.65bn and net income decreased by 1.7% to$ 608m.

Bellsouth reported a 2.3% increase in 3Q05 net profit, without Cingular impact, to $817m, while revenues were almost flat at $5.1bn. Cingular reported $8.7bn in revenues and a 56% jump in profit. Bellsouth' s normalized earnings were $845m.

Sprint Nextel announced that pro forma consolidated revenue rose 8% to $11.2bn, with wireless accounting for 72% to $8.1bn (up 12%) and local revenues at $1.7bn (+5%) and long distance revenue falling 4% to $1.7bn. Sprint Nextel added 1.3m mobile subscribers to a total of 45.6m. It posted net earnings of $516m vs a loss of $1.9bn a year earlier.

France Telecom posts 3Q05 revenues of €12.2bn, up 3.8%, and cuts its target of yearly sales growth to 3% instead of 3-5%. EBITDA rose 2% to € 4.9bn, but FT did not provide net income figures.

Tele2 (Sweden) reports $117m in 3Q05 net profit (up13%), an EBITDA of $236m (+3%), and sales of $1.56bn (+16%).

Telenor posts $341m in 3Q05 net profit (+31%) on revenues of $2.7bn, up 13%. EBITDA rose 16% to $1bn.

TeliaSonera has reported sales of $3.4bn, up 8.4%, net earnings of $583m (down 13%) and EBITDA of $1.2bn, down 6%.

SK Telecom (South Korea) posts 48% growth in net earnings at $561m, EBIT up 10% at $640m, and sales up 6.6% at $2.5bn.
