Ericsson has landed a new contract from Telemar/Oi (Brazil) to deliver its Mobile Organizer (EMO) solution.

Motorola will upgrade the CDMA network of ViVO (Brazil).

Huawei is still re-negotiating with BSNL (India) to salvage the contract of one million CDMA lines it got few weeks ago.

Alcatel will upgrade about 1,000 base stations for T-Mobile in Germany, for about € 100m. It also has got a €87m order from TA Orange to expand and upgrade its GSM/GPRS/EDGE mobile network.

LogicaCMG will deploy an IP-based NG Messaging solution for Batelco in Bahrain.

ZTE will upgrade Nepal Telecom' s GSM network and deliver 1,300,000 lines of HLR.

Cisco is providing VIVO (Brazil) with its Mobile Exchange to increase billing efficiency.

Tekelec has been awarded a multi-million Euro deal from MobilNil (Egypt) to deploy its EAGLE 5 Signalling Application System (SAS) and Integrated Application Solution (IAS) monitoring platform.

Nortel will deliver CDMA2000 1X EV-DO softswitching to VIVO (Brazil).
