ECI Telecom has received an order from Intelsat for its XDM Multi-Service Transport Platform (MSTP). It has also received an order from BayanTel (Philippines) to provide infrastructure for VOIP and IPTV services.

Motorola has deployed next generation entertainment video and optical access solutions to ComSouth, ATMC, PBT Telecom, and Bulloch Telephone.

Lucent will provide its Compact Switch to CTC Communications (US).

Alcatel will expand the functionality and capacity of its SIP-based multimedia platform into BT’s network by 4Q05. It has been chosen by China Netcom to run trials on Next Generation networks.

Philips will supply set-top box to BT.

Siemens will deploy about 7,200 WLL lines in Vietnam for VNPT in 10 central provinces.
