Vodacom' s subscriber base in South Africa has passed the 16m mark.

America Movile is believed to have 83.6m mobile subscribers and 2m fixed-line subscribers. The partial breakdown of mobile subscribers is 33.6m in Mexico, 11.3m in Colombia, 17.4m in Brazil.

TA Orange (Thailand) has 4m mobile subscribers or a 14% local market share.
