Google earned $381m in 3Q05, up more than 600%, on revenues of $1.58 bn, up almost 100%.

Bell south earned $817m in 3Q05, up 2%, on revenues of $8.5bn, up 26%. The wireline business slipped 0.5% to $5.1 bn from a year ago. Bellsouth currently has 20.4m lines in service, down 354k the quarter.

Rogers (Canada) reported flat 3Q05 profit at about C$48m, on soaring revenues (+43%) at $2bn, of which 50% in wireless.

Covad announced revenues were up 6% to $112m, a net loss of $16m (slightly better than a year ago) and an EBITDA (loss) of $12m, vs a profit of $4.1m a year ago.

Millicom International reports its 3Q05 net profit fell 96% to $0.5m, while sales rose 11% to $261m.

Embratel (Brazil) reported earnings of $24m, reversing a loss of $29m a year ago. Revenues were $824m, up 5.5%, of which national long-distance revenues amounted to 56% of the total. EBITDA rose 95% to $207m.

Sprint Nextel posted an 3Q05 income of $655m on revenues of $9.3bn. On a proforma basis, it reported earnings of $493m, vs loss of $1.8bn, on revenues of $ 11.2bn, up 8%.

America Movil announced net profit fell 41% to $407m; an operating profit of $867m, up 40%; EBITDA of $1.35bn, up 29%; and revenues of $4.19bn, up 30%.

SK Telecom (South Korea) reports 3Q05 net income of $561m, up 49%, on sales of $2.7bn, up 6.6%.
