Huawei will supply its CDMA 2000 solution to CAT (Thailand) for $ 187m.

ZTE is to deploy its CDMA 2000 1x EV-DO solution for Sky Telecom (Laos).

Siemens will provide MMO2 with IMS (Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystems) solutions, and will supply India's Uniword with GSM technology under a multi-million euro order. Siemens received an €12m order from ETC (Ethiopia) for an optical network.

Alcatel has received a $ 133m order from TA Orange (Thailand) for expanding its GSM/GPRS network.

Nokia and Ericsson have signed a WCDMA 3G network expansion agreement with Far EasTone Telecommunications (Taiwan).
