Quadruple Play: MSOs' s strategy is to bring quadruple play (including voice, data, video and mobility) to their customers to add high-value services and keep subscriber's loyalty under control. Using WiFi (802.11x) access point connected to the operator's PacketCable-compliant network and open SIP approach to fixed-mobile convergence allow them to keep mobile subscribers on their own hybrid fiber/coax (HFC) networks. A great strategy to compete with both fixed and mobile operators.
