Alvarion posted revenue of $47m, down 4%, and a net loss of $ 3.6m (vs profit).

UTStarcom achieved revenues of $723m, up 5%, and a loss of $75m (vs profit of $44m).

Huawei reported global sales of $4bn in the first half of the year (up 85%), of which $2.47bn in overseas sales. Mobile products sales rose 120% in 1H05.

ECI Telecom posted a 26% increase in 2Q05 revenues to $153m, and net income rose to $15.6m. The Broadband Access Division sales grew 24% to $63m, while the operating income rose to $6.4m. The Optical Networks Division revenues grew by 34% to $82m and the division’s operating income was $8.9m.

Cisco achieved another strong quarter with revenues at $6.6bn (+11%), of which 40% in network switches and 25% in internet routers.  Net income was $1.5bn (up 7%). The numbers result in fiscal 2005 revenues of $24.8bn, up 12.5%,

Sopra (France) reported 1H05 sales of € 360m, up 20%.

Nortel realized +10% in sales to $2.8bn, while net earnings are positive at $45m. Carrier packet networks contributed $743m (+3%) in revenues, and Enterprise Networks contributed $730m (+26%), while GSM contributed $719m (+1%) and CDMA contributed $ 662m (+17%). Nortel's gross margin was 43%, in line with expectations. Nortel had a cash balance of $3.06bn.

SR Telecom (Canada) reported sales of $18m (down 50%) and net loss of $31m (vs loss of $23m).

HP achieved $20.8bn in 2Q05 sales (up 10%) while net earnings rose 46% to $1bn. PC sales grew 8% to $6.4bn, providing profit of $163m. Server sales rose 20% to $4bn, with profit of $150m. Printer sales were $5.9bn, up 5%, while its profit was down 8% to $771m.

ZTE reported 1H05 revenues of $1.3bn (of which 35% overseas), almost flat, and $85m net profit in 1H05 (down 9%).

Fiberhome (China) posted revenues of $82m (down 4.5%) and net profit of $1.3m (down 43%).

Datang (China) reported 1H05 net loss of $ 16m (vs a profit of $0.3m). Software sales were down 29% to $35m
