Ericsson has inked a T-Mobile International contract to supply and replace 10,000 of T-Mobile's existing GSM radio base stations by latest GSM/GPRS devices. It will deploy for Pannon GSM (Hungary) the first phase of its 3G mobile network, and will rollout Connex 3G UMTS network in Romania. ETC (Ethiopia) selected Ericsson in a $ 49m contract to expand its GSM infra in the country.

Amdocs has delivered and deployed its ClarifyCRM platform into T-Mobile Austria network.

Nortel will supply a 3G UMTS network to Servei de Telecomunicacions d'Andorra (STA). It will also supply $53m GSM equipment to Chunghwa Telecom (Taiwan).

Nera will expand Ethiopia ETC’s GSM network in a $10m deal.

ZTE will build a CDMA 450 network in Murmansk, Russia, for Skylink.

LHS real-time Rating Package has been installed in T-Mobile Austria network.

Nokia received a $31m order from ETC (Ethiopia) to expand its GSM network in the country. It will also expand Jiangxi Mobile Communications GSM network under a new deal.

Siemens SBS will run the IT infrastructure of the Austrian mobile operator ONE under a €35m deal.
