Sony-Ericsson achieved 4Q04 sales of €2bnb (+40%) with net profit of €55m (+28%). Sony Ericsson shipped 12.6m phones (+56%) in the quarter. 2004 sales totaled €6.5bn (+38%) and net profit was €316m.

Samsung Telecom posted $4.1bn in sales in 4Q04, with $143m in operating profit.

Motorola reported record 4Q04 sales of $ 8.8bn (up 27%) of which infra division accounted for $1.4bn, and a net income of $ 654m (up 34%). Most of the growth was driven by the phone division, which shipped almost 32m units in the quarter (up 42%) and gave back Motorola the second rank in the worldwide phone market. For the full year, Motorola reported sales of $ 31.3bn (up 35%).

Juniper posted strong 4Q04 sales of $ 430m (up 108%), of which $80m in security products and $ 300m in routers, and a net income of $66m (+349%).

Lucent posted 4Q04 sales of $ 2.3bn, up 3%, and net profit of $ 174m, down 50%. Wireline division revenues ($645m) fell 18%, while wireless sales increased 19% to $1.15bn and services business grew 12% to $ 520m.

IBM announced 4Q04 sales of $ 27.7bn (+7%) with a net income rising 12% to $ 3.1bn. Full year results were $ 96.5bn (+8%) in sales and $8.4bn in net income (+10%). All five of IBM's industry sectors grew for the full year.

Westell announced 4Q 04 revenues of $ 75m (up 24%), and net income of $ 3.7m.

Extreme posted 4Q04 revenues of $100m, up 20%, and net income of $ 10m. Gross margin was about 54%.

Scientific Atlanta posted 4Q04 sales of $ 442m (up 6%) and net income of $ 59m (+15%).

Amdocs released 4Q04 results: revenues were $ 470m, up 10%, and net income was $69m, up 30%.
