Mobile contracts - 12/06/07
Ericsson has received a $1bn order from China Mobile to expand its GSM core radio network. It has signed a $65m contract with ICE (Costa Rica) for 300k new mobile lines.
Nokia will provide PCCW (HK) a mobile e-mail platform.
AsiaInfo will provide billing and CRM solutions for Jiangsu Unicom GPRS services.
ZTE got a $1.2bn order from China Telecom for building TD-SCDMA networks and another $310m order also from China Mobile for TD-SCDMA services.
Qualcomm has received a $500m purchase order for chips from ZTE.
Sony Ericsson has received a $600m purchase order for handsets from China Postel, and a $500m order from Shenzhen Telling (China) for handsets.
