T-Mobile USA reported 1Q07 net profit of $315m, up 31%. Revenues were up to $4bn, up 18%. Churn is down 0.2 point to 1.9%, and ARPU was $52.
DT earned €459m in the quarter, down 58%, on revenues of €15.5bn, up 4%.
Singtel (Singapore) posts FY net profit of $2.5bn, down 9%, 1Q07 net profit of $654m, down 41%. EBITDA increased 4% to $1.1bn.
Portugal Telecom announced 1Q07 net profit of €177m, down 16%, on revenues of €1.5bn, up 2.5%. EBITDA increased 5% to €571m.
Wind (Italy) said its 1Q07 net profit was down 50% to €7m, on revenues up 10% to €1.3bn. EBITDA rose 11% to €428m.
Vivo (Brazil) posted a 1Q07 net loss of $9.5m, narrower than $88m last year, on revenues of $1.4bn, up 10%. EBITDA rose 6% to $373m. ARPU rose 18% to $14.8.
Telecom Argentina said its 1Q07 revenues were $662m, up 28%, and its net income jumped to $43.5m. Cellular and Internet were the most dynamic segments with respectively 45% and 32% revenues growth rate, and 51% and 111% customer number growth rate.
Telenet (Belgium) reports 1Q07 net profit of €11m, up 100%, on sales of €227m, up 16%.
NTT (Japan) posts a 4.5% fall in FY07 net earnings to $4bn, mainly due to increased 3G migration costs. Revenues were flat at $89.8bn, while operating income fell 7% to $9.2bn.
Maroc Telecom (Morrocco) said its 1Q07 revenues were €547m, up 10%, while operating income rose 19% to €255m.
