Operator results - 05/05/07

Free/ Iliad (France) said its 1Q07 revenues were up 31% to €278m and increased its marketshare to 25.6% (+6.6 points). Its ARPU was €34.9 per month.

MTC (MEA) reports 1Q07 net profit of $247m, up 33%, on revenues of $1.4bn, up 66%.

Neuf Cegetel (France) said its 1Q07 revenues were up 10% to €782m.

Telemig (Brazil) announced 1Q07 net profit of $21m, up 35%, on revenues of $156m, up 24%. EBITDA rose 40% to $60m. ARPU went up 18% to $13.6.

Amazônia Celular (Brazil) reports a net loss of $2.8m in 1Q07, on revenues of $56.7m, up 18%.

Telenor said its 1Q07 net profit was down 24% to €340m, on revenues up 5% to €2.8bn. Telenor did not include Ukraine's Kyivstar operations anymore.

Time Warner Telecom said 1Q07 net loss of $14m, on revenues of $261m, up 40%.
