There were 50m mobile subscribers in West Africa at the end of 2006.

America Movil added 6.5m new mobile subscribers in 1Q07 to a total of 131m (+30%) in LATAM at the end of March, of which almost 45m in Mexico.

Teliasonera reports that it had more than 100m subscribers (+19%) in March.

SK Telecom said it had 20.7m mobile subscribers at the end of March.

Brasil Telecom announced 1.38m ADSL subscribers and 3.6m mobile accesses at the end of March.
