Operator results - 25/04/07

AT&T reported strong 1Q07 results. 1 8 20 Revenues rose to $29bn, from $15.7bn a year ago (non proforma), but includes BellSouth and its 40% stake in Cingular from now. Net income amounted to $2.8bn, up 100% (non proforma).

KDDI (Japan) announced FY07 operating revenues of $28bn, up 9%, an operating profit of $2.9bn, up 16%, and a net profit of $1.6bn, down 2%. Mobile revenues grew 7% to $2.5bn, and mobile net income rose 9% to $3.2bn.

Teliasonera posted 1Q07 revenues of $3.3bn, up 3%, while net income rose 5% to $654m.

Millicom International said its 1Q07 revenues were $563m (+85%), EBITDA grew 73% to $248m, net profit rose more than 1000% to $345m.
