A few set of market information released this week:

• According to Point Topic, worldwide broadband subscriber number rose to 281m.

• CDG (CDMA Development Group) said that the number of CDMA 2000 subscribers in S. Asia, has doubled to 45m at the end of 2006. Quickest growth is in India with 6 CDMA operators (nota: all operators are not considered as mobile however, as some of them only use wireless local loop licenses).

• According to a new survey conducted by CommunicationsDirect, asking : »How many mobile devices do you carry? », the answer is: 40% one; 48% two; 10% three; and 2% more than three.
