Apple confirms the availability of its set-top box. The product supports Ethernet, WiFi 802.11n, 802.11g, 802.11a and 802.11b; as well as MP3, AAC, AIFF and WAV. It incorporates a 40Gbo hard drive, and its price is at $300.

Ericsson is believed to have stopped internal WiMAX development (its iMax product range) and to focus on on HSDPA technology. Ericsson currently has a reseller agreement with Airspan Networks.
