A few set of market information released this week:

• According to In-Stat, the shipments of Consumer Electronics devices would jump to 3bn in 2010, from 2.1bn last year.

• In-Stat forecasts that worldwide digital cable set top box unit shipments have increased by 76% to 27.5m units in 2006, led by the Chinese demand (+7m units). Revenues grew by 35% to $4.2bn. Motorola and Scientific Atlanta are the top 2 vendors and combined command about 50% of the market.

• According to iSupply, the overall premium mobile content market would be worth $35bn by 2011, growing 114% from 2006 figure. The content-delivery infrastructure market would grow 76% to $7.5bn by 2011.
