Philippines: the country has about 32.9m mobile users, and mobile penetration stands at about 40% at the end of 2004. Main mobile operators are Smart with 14.6m users, Globe Telecom with 10.8m, and Piltel with 1.7m as well as Touch Mobile. Sun Cellular has 1.2m.
