Juniper Research has assessed that worldwide VoIP over Wi-Fi equipment revenues would grow to $82bn by 2012, of which $35bn in NA, $23bn in EMEA and $21bn in APAC. Dual Mode Mobile Handsets (Cellular/VoIP over Wi-Fi ) will dominate this market with $68bn in revenues by 2012.

According to Infonetics, the worldwide service provider router and switch revenue grew 33% to $9.6bn, fueled by carrier Ethernet switch and IP router sales.
