A few set of market information released this week:

• According to Adams Media Research, VOD revenues would reach $4bn in 2011, vs 111m in 2006.

• IEEE targets to boost 802.16e mobile WiMAX speeds to 1Gbit/s (802.16m) by 2009, using MIMO antennas.

• According to ABI Research, some 250 million users will be making and receiving phone calls over converged fixed-mobile networks, while FMC networks would require infra capex of over $450m by 2011.

• According to IBM, media sales on mobile phones and Internet will increase 23% in the next 4 years, and five times faster than traditional media.
