CDMA 450 bits

The CDMA Development Group (CDG) has announced that there were 103 operators in 60 countries that have deployed (67 operators in 36 countries) or plan to deploy (36 operators in 24 countries) CDMA450 services. 40 operators are offering CDMA 1xEV-DO for broadband data services. But CDMA 450 has still a limited impact in the mobile market, with just above 12m subscribers. The technology, however, has proven to be flexible enough to deliver traditional mobile services, broadband mobile services, but also fixed wireless local loop (WLL) services in low-density areas.
