Orca Interactive (Israel), an IPTV middleware vendor, is mulling takeover talks with a number of potential buyers. A strong potential suitor could be Comverse.

Alcatel-Lucent and Cisco are mulling taking over in total or partially Taiwan's ZyXEL Communications. Cisco made a proposal few weeks ago, and Alcatel-Lucent has followed with an offer worth $ 140m- $150m for the IP-DSLAM division.
