Safran/ Sagem (France) will change its strategy. Mobile phones unit is no more for sale. Sagem delivered more than 17m units in 2006 (-1% in volume and -12% in value). Sagem will focus on quality and not volume.

Nokia is providing its Intellisync Wireless Email solution to tow additional Sony Ericsson mobile phones.

Huawei said it spent about $500m in the development of the 3G generation as of the end of 2006, of which 50% only in 2006.
