Virgin Mobile reports 304k mobile subscribers in France, and targets 1m in two years and MVNO pole position in France. Virgin Mobile has 10m users workdwide, of which 3m in the US.

Fastweb' s customer base in Italy rose to 1.1m at the end of the year 2006.

Indian GSM mobile subscriber number soared to 105.5m, up 80%, in 2006, while CDMA mobile user number reached 36.7m, up 204%.

Telkomsel (Indonesia) recorded 1.7m 3G users at the end of 2006, and ranks among the top 10 3G operators.
