Nokia is looking on convergent VoIP solutions for businesses. In addition to alliance with Avaya and Cisco, Nokia unveiled Wi-Fi/cellular solutions for the fixed-to-mobile convergence (FMC) space.

Intel unveils a single WiFi / WLAN chip.

Cisco plans to manufacture 40% of its products in China by the end of 2006.

Huawei expects to triple the value of contracts signed in Europe in 2005 to $600m. It increased its stake in Sunday (HK mobile operator) to about 10% from 8%.
