ZTE will provide a CMDA 2000 platform for 3G services to ClearTalk Wireless (US).

Nortel has received its Xmas gift: a $2bn contract from Verizon Wireless to expand its CDMA network capacity and footprint.

Nokia got a $100m contract from Advanced Info Service (AIS) Thailand to expand GSM and EDGE coverage. It also was awarded a $110m order from Total Access Communication PLC (DTAC) in Thailand for network expansion.

Ericsson has displaced Nokia at Softbank.
