Mobile contracts - 09/12/06

Ericsson has been selected by Cyprus' Cyta for providing its IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) solution. It will provide Chile' s Entel PCS to migrate its mobile network to an all-IP network that will support voice, data and 3G services.

Motorola has received a major contract to upgrade and manage Vodafone's nationwide GSM network in Turkey.

ZTE confirms it will deliver 2.5m mobile phones to Reliance (India) under a $700m contract.

Alcatel-Lucent will provide Chunghwa Telecom, Taiwan, with its IMS-compliant solution for real-time video telephony and video conferencing services. It will deploy an optical network for PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Indonesia) within ts mobile network.
