France: ADSL to prevent fixed decline
In France, the number of fixed subscriptions is now plateauing at a housjhold teledensity of 82% for the first time in ten years, stopping the decline of 13 points in 15 years. According to Credoc, demand for broadband internet connectivity and triple-play offerings have fueled keeping up with domestic fixed lines. About 17% of French households are using triple-play boxes( vs 7% last year), and total unbundling has grow with 7% of adults using a single alternative operator.
