Siemens has failed selling its loss-making Enterprise Networks unit and ended talks. It will sell its Public Communication Networks Pvt unit in India to Nokia Siemens Networks, the 50-50 JV between Siemens and Nokia.

Tellabs intends offering full-range NGN and Metro-Ethernet network portfolio. It has selected Italtel' s softswitch and Metro-Ethernet Network with IP capabilities.
