Operator results - 15/11/06

Orascom Telecom reported a 35% jump in revenues to $3.2bn, a 37% increase in EBITDA to $1.4bn, and a 12% increase in net income to $550m.

Telkom SA (South Africa) posts a 5% rise in FY1H07 net profit to $621m, on revenues of $3.5bn, up 7%.

Telecom Personal (Argentina) announced it s back in black with 3Q06 net profit of $12m on revenues of $360m (+54%). 9-mo net profit was $14m, on revenues of $975m, up 56%.

Globul (Bulgaria) reports a 26% growth in 9-mo revenues to €255m, while net income reached €27m, up 22%. EBITDA was €94m, up 30%.

Megafon (Russia) reports 1H06 revenues of $1.6bn, up 51%, while annual revenues should be $3.5bn, up 46%.

Telekom Austria reports very good results with 9-mo revenues of €3.6bn, up 11%, an operating income of €696m, up 24%, EBITDA of €1.5bn (+11%) and a net income of €498m, up 35%.
