Lucent will supply Fonix (USA) with hardware, software and services for VoIP infrastructure. It will expand and upgrade Choice One (USA) voice and web-based messaging services, will build a nationwide optical Sonet network for Dreamline in Korea, expand optical infrastructure with its LambdaUnite MultiService Switch for Toronto Hydro Telecom, and sell its Compact Switch to CMC Telecom and Midwest Wireless. It will also be build the national broadband access of T-Online/ Club Internet in France.
Motorola got the order to provide the mesh networking solution for the Ripon, Calif., citywide mobile broadband system.
