Wataniya Telecom (Kuwait) reported 3Q06 revenues of $1bn, up 40%, and EBITDA of $463m, up 67%.

Singtel (Singapore) posted 3Q06 revenues of $2.1bn (flat) and net profit of $ 613m, up 19%. IH06 revenues were $4.1bn, down 1%, and net profit of $1.15bn, up 12.5%.

PLDT (Philippines) said its 3Q06 net profit rose 27% to $209m on revenues of $661m, up 5%. For the first nine months, revenues were $1.9bn, up 3%, and net profit amounted to $516m, up 4%. Capex 2006 should be $400m, up 11%, to upgrade 300,000 fixed lines and expand Smart' s mobile network. Fixed line segment contributed to $720m in 9-mo revenues, down 2%, of which 25% are data revenues that grow 32% during the period.

NTL said 3Q06 revenues grew to £1bn, including the acquisition of Telewest and Virgin Mobile, while operating loss was £10m.

Time Warner Telecom delivered 3Q06 strong results with 10% growth in revenues to $196m, of which 44% in network services (+2%), 28% in data and internet services (+30%), 23% in voice services (+9%). Net loss was $11m and M-EBITDA was $71m (+14%).

Hanarotelecom reports 3Q06 revenues of $450m (+0.5%) and EBITDA of $ 142m (+2.3%).

Telecom Italia reported a 4% increase in revenues to €7.8bn, while EBITD grew 1.5% to €3.3bn and net profit rose 3.5% to €880m. Revenue growth was driven by growth at its European broadband units and strong results from TIM Brazil. Its debt has narrowed to €39.5bn, down €1.8bn in the quarter.

TIM Brazil reports a net profit of $10m (vs loss a year ago) on revenues jumping 30% to $1.3bn. EBITDA was up 93% to $317m.

Brazil Telecom GSM posts a 3Q06 net loss of $32m (narrowed by half) on revenues of $ 231m, up 94%. EBITDA loss was $9.5m.

DT announced 3Q06 results with net profit down 20% to €1.9bn, with revenues up 2.8% to €15.5bn, and EBITDA down 7% to €5.1bn.

               BT reported 3Q06 revenues of €7.3bn, up 4% and EBITDA rising 2% to €2.1bn.

PT (Portugal Telecom) said its 3Q06 net profit rose 63% to €125m, on revenues declining 1% to €1.6bn. EBITDA was down 2% to €595m. PT is always the subject of a hostile bid approach by SonaeCom.

Swisscom reports a 12% drop in 3Q06 net earnings to €470m, while revenues rose less than 2% to €2.4bn. EBITDA should be about €3.5bn for the year.

Wataniya Telecom (Kuwait) has unveiled 3Q06 strong results, with revenues up 40% to $1bn, EBITDA jumping 67% to $461m and margin improving 7 points to 43.5%. ARPU is growing in all its markets.

Global Crossing announced 3Q06 revenues of $466m, down 3%, and improved its loss by 47% to $50m. EBITDA was positive at $7m, vs loss in 2005.

Turkcell (Turkey) posted 3Q06 revenues of $1.1bn, flat, EBITDA of $477m, up 3%, and net income of $312m, up 259%.
