Operator results - 8 June 2005

Arcor (Germany) announced revenues of €1.6bn, up 14% and EBITDA rose 83% to €246m. Revenues are made 55% from consumers and 45% from businesses.

Telkom (South Africa) reported net earnings of $991m, up 49%, and revenues rose 7% to $6.4bn.

Sistema (Russia) posted a rise of 6% in net profits to $411m on revenues of $5.7bn, up 52%, of which $4.6bn in telecommunications, up 42%.
