Huawei is providing KPN (NL) with HSDPA datacards. Huawei will also built the first LATAM 3G UMTS network for ANTEL (Uruguay). Huawei has secured 31 UMTS/HSDPA commercial contracts to date. It will supply a CDMA 200 1x 450 system to Sibirtelecom (Russia) in the Tomsk region.

Nokia has received a $63m order for GSM network expansion from Yunnan Mobile (China Mobile).

Lucent will deploy, with Teletech, a CDMA 2000 1xEV-DO trial network to offer high-speed wireless data connectivity to Egypt's schools .

Thomson has received an order from Telecom Italia for a full commercial rollout of their mobile TV service.
