Huawei won a contract in Pakistan to expand the GSM network.

Lucent will provide Telus (Canada) with network and service management software Netminder (part of VitalSuite software).

Telcordia expands footprint in China with China Mobile to provide Granite Inventory software.

HP won EMT (Estonia) and KTF (Sth Korea) operations and business support systems (OSS and BSS) orders.

Ericsson has been selected by Vivo (Brazil) for managed services. Ericsson will manage more than 2,000 sites for next two years.

Alcatel gained a mobile contract with Lao Telecommunications (LTC) in Laos, to provide wireless Evolium GSM/GPRS radio and core products.

Microsoft will help Sprint to deliver real-time location services to U.S. Businesses. Microsoft will supply its MapPoint(R) Location Server (MLS).
