According to In-Stat, mobile TV will begin to take off in the next two years, and predicts that more than 10% of all U.S. mobile users will subscribe to mobile video services by 2009.

Windows dominates the OS market with a worldwide market share of 97%, including XP (87%),, W2000, NT, 98 and ME.

According to the CDMA Development Group (CDG), 6m EV-DO users were added in Q2, bringing the total to 36m. Total subscribers to CDMA2000 technology reached 275m, while total CDMA subscribers increased by 24% to 335m.

According to Telegeography, more than 200 operators in the world are planning to deploy WiMAX networks. Currently, there were 117 WiMAX networks operational and 14 are still building.
