A few set of market information released this week:

• According to ABI Research, 148m EDGE handsets should be shipped this year (14% of the global handset market)

• IDC forecasts that TV and video services will drive the DSL IC chipset market. The number of ports shipped (Central office and CPE combined) between 2005 and 2010 should be over 32m units.

• According to TNS, Danish citizens are preferring mobiles to fixed-line connections.
